Who We Are

All-Volunteer Board Members

Our Board are made up entirely of volunteers, many of whom balance full-time jobs alongside their commitment to supporting our school community. All of us may be reached through our Spruce PTO Email. 

What does a Board do? 

Spruce PTO board positions are elected each year by our members with a vote (typically at the end of the year).  Our board meets monthly to review group business (like finances, events, requests), discuss actions and spending, and vote on decisions like budgets, events, or fund use. 

Our board meets for one hour each month, and we also hold a one-hour general meeting monthly. On average, each board member contributes about 6 to 8 hours of their time per month.

All-Volunteer General Members

Our general members—including parents and Spruce staff—are the heart of our organization.  Volunteers that support Spruce Elementary by organizing events, fundraising, and building a strong school community. We work closely with teachers and staff to enrich the student experience and help fill critical funding gaps.
