Media & Kids: Let's Talk
Join us for an engaging parent education evening focused on helping children and tweens build healthy habits around media and technology.
We’ll watch a short Beyond the Check-In video.
Through group discussion, we’ll explore practical tools and resources, and talk about navigating screen time, online content, and digital wellbeing.
Complimentary dinner and child-care will be provided. To support families observing Ramadan, to‑go containers will be available for those who wish to take their meal home to eat later.
Media & Kids: Let’s Talk Night is Tuesday, March 10th at 6:00 - 7:30 PM in Spruce Elementary’s Cafeteria (in-person only), This meeting will replace our regular PTO General Meeting for March.

We’re gearing up for an exciting school event, and we need your ideas, energy, and expertise! Whether you love organizing, decorating, coordinating activities, or simply lending a hand, there’s a place for everyone on our planning team.
Our planning meetings are open to all parents, guardians, and community members. Come collaborate, share creative ideas, and help shape an event our students will love.

Our Mission
To promote the welfare and education of children and youth eligible to attend the Edmonds School District and the Spruce Elementary School in the home, school, and community.
To support the school in improving education in ways that will adhere to administrative policy and the Edmonds School District’s mission, goals, and beliefs.
To raise funds for programs and equipment to further the education of children and youth.
To bring about a closer relationship between the home and the school, that families and staff may work cooperatively in the education of children and youth.
To foster communication, cooperation, support, information, and education within the Edmonds School District, including District staff, families, and the general community.

We are stronger together! The more volunteers who are involved, the more we can do. We need parents like you to join us! Any parent or guardian of a student of Spruce Elementary School may become a Spruce Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) member.

We meet once a month throughout the school year. Join us the Second Tuesday of the month @ 6:30 PM in Spruce Elementary's Community Room. Children welcome.

Volunteer at Spruce!
Spruce PTO coordinates volunteer opportunities at Spruce Elementary.
Spruce relies on volunteers to help with picture day and health screenings (vision, hearing, dental) and includes helping students get to/from the screenings.
Please complete the Edmonds School District Volunteer Application and be approved before volunteering at the school.
